When attempting to backup a new ps2 game such as Hot Shots Golf Fore! (great game by the way). Is it sufficient to use a single layer burner, burning the image created by DVD Decrytper? Not sure if any of these games are double layer, or if any additional steps are needed. Thanks.

pop it into DVD Decrypter and see how big it is (im sure that game is only single layer). There are only a handful of games on duel layer discs.

vans12:

Note that Windows Explorer will not always detect dual-layer PS2 discs. Xenosaga shows up somewhere around just over 4Gigs but is infact a dual-layer game.
