i'm pretty sure that someone thought it would be funny to switch my setting from ntsc to pal. so now how would i get it back because i cannot see anything? i have slayers auto install on the box.

Go into system management (where you set your ip address etc) go down to ( where i think its called) games, it should say PAL if it has been changed from NTSC. Just push right on the d pad until you choose either defalt of NTSC again. Hope this fixes your problem. Oh and SAVE AND EXIT.
