Can someone help be understand why if a dvd-r has a burn error it cause the whole disc to be unusable, even if the error occured near the end of the burn process. If the same thing happen with a cd-r the file that is already burn will still work. Don't DVD-R write the table of content at the beginning of the DVD-R? Has anyone Successfully recovery data DVD-R that has burn error like this?

by the way I use nero 6 bundle version, i use the iso method to burn various data from my harddrive.
