I posted this question in the wrong forum earlier and not only that I resurrected a dead thread. Sorry about that, that's what I get for using search and not checking the dates!

On to the question:

I have a Plextor ContertX capture unit (it's not a card, so I guess it's a breakout box) and I want to capture to PC for DVD burning.

What would be the best way around macrovision?
Could I use something like DVD Decrypter once I get the video on the PC?
If I have to get a video stabilizer, where would be the best/cheapest place to find one?

Yes you will have to get a Video stabilizer or something like a Sima Copy Master .....

I have seen them on E-bay for between $15 and $30...
