DVDX not loading

I've been using DVDX for months.Suddenly when I try to burn, the DVDX main screen stays on my monitor for 45 min. w/ the hourglass running. Then the monitor goes blank for about 15 min. Then the program begins asking the pre-burn questions(rented or borrowed....) and then burns. Ahhhh! Anyone have help for me?

I defragged and it didn't help.When burning a movie last night,it read the movie at it's usual speed, but when it came time to write it, the estimated time kept going up until I finally canceled out at 281 hrs. 44min. Am I out of luck?Since 321 studios is G.O.O.B., what are my options,if any?Thanks.

Lots of options.

DVD Shrink w/ DVD Decrypter (both free)
DVD Shrink(free) w/ Nero($49)
AnyDVD w/ CloneDVD2(if bought together $65)
AnyDVD($39) w/ Recode 2(Comes with Nero 6-$49)
DVD Rebuilder(free) w/ CCE Basic($58) <- great for long movies

and others :)
