when i patch my original socom 2 it comes up with two files after burning to hard drive, one is large obviously the game and one called mds file i was wondering whether i will have to burn this mds file with the game or whether it will do it automatically

pleasehelp im lost

can i burn either one because one is 4.5 gig and the other is about 5 kb so i didnt think i should burn the second one so can i burn the first one on its own

the 5k .mds file just points to the image. it is used for people with fat32 systems that cannot support images over 4gigs. 2 images are made and the .mds file links them together. but since it looks like you are running ntfs, either one will work.
