LOOK at the screen shot, i cant get ANY ps2 game to burn because of alcohol, i cant click START to actually BURN a game therefore i have not been able to play it on my ps2..

Go back and read what I posted and you will read that they are not the same.
If you still need help, I will help but without the attitude.
First of all, you need better media to work with. IF tour in a hurry to get burning then go to a local store like best buy or electronic store and pick up some good disc's (your preference with + or - since a version 7 will except both. they will cost more but like I said "If your in a hurry" then go for it.
If you have decrypter then select mode/Iso read/ then find were your ISO game is then you can write click and choose a program you want to burn with. MAke sue you burn a slow speed since the faster you go It may cause errors.
If im not mistaken Granturismo is a dvd9 game so it probably won't fit on a standard dvd5 disc.

As I was reading back on this thead Im assuming you have successfully made an image with image making wizzard but can't burn the game right?

Sorry about the late reply.. yeah im having trouble burning it..
the games i have are patched as cd-r, but i want to put them onto DVD, so will i need to add the dvd checks back onto them? (using dvd scan) and would i have to rebuild the lba tables then make it into an iso again to burn?

I dont know about granturismo i got it off someone, but the rest of my games i got frmo the shop, some are on cd some on dvd..

According to that screen-shot provided, it appears that the drive is successfully recoginizing the blank DVD media inserted into the drive, however, it appears that this is the incorrect media to use. Are these games you're trying to copy onto DVD's DVD games that were ripped to CD's? If so, you cannot do this nor is there any benefit to doing this. The information that was ripped when the game was originall transferred from DVD to CD is lost and cannot be magically restored simply by copying the ripped CD back to DVD. Just use the disc copy wizard to copy the original DVD format game to blank DVD media and that error message will likely go away. Moral of the story here is that you cannot burn CD disc images to DVD media. No burn software that I have come across allows this.

Wouldnt the games load more quickly/smoothly on dvd.. and wouldnt i be able to put the DVD checks back on using dvd scan 3.6
