I use Memorex DVD+R media, I just started attempting to back up my dvds. I tried to back up my "Da Ali G Show," and when I used Decryptor it seems to write the file ok. When I burn, however, and verify the data is says there is some kind of data error, and the begining part of the dvd plays but then shuts off. Is this probably because of my media or is it the sign of something else? If it is the media, any suggestions for what kind to get?

Hi buhnanas

For a quick media course check this link http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

It is not only the media but your burner and firmware that impacts on the number of coasters you will create.

Burning a DVD is a much more complex than burning a CD

I hope this helps

If at first you don't succeed ...........!
