Hi,

I have this Slide Magic or whatever it's called. I followed all the instructions corectly but when I press X to play the game, a pink frame just appears around the insert disc screen.

Should I have written the .ISO to a DVD-R ? I wrote it to a DVD+R , is that the problem ?

You need different dvd media, bulkplop are 100% useless for PS2 backups. Try getting some Ritek or TDK dvd-r.

Not true, i have Bulkpaq Generation 4 4x speed DVD-R's and they work. It also says on the disc in the middle "enhanced for dtata, video and console".

Since you have a v5 PS2, I would recommend using DVD-R to back up your games. Ritek DVD-R GO4 4x is an excellent brand of media. Make sure you burn at the lowest possible speed (1x).
