ps2 hd loader problem!

I have the ps2ownz hdloader, i have a pal ps2 and Swapmagicv3 wich i use to boot the hdloader, now original games go easy, but when i put in a original game and then use the swap magic with a backup its says not a valid ps2 game (again i dont have it modded only have the swap magic and the swap thingy to open the tray!) can someone tell me if i can put backups on there?

i also have the HDadvance cracked one but it doesnt work with backups either :(

i tried it again with MGS2 as toc. now it works but it says my backup is 4 gig while its like 2.5 gig O_O

nvm i got it working, dunno how though, at the end of my backup at 97% i got 4000 errors but it still works O_O
