A Hi
from a newbie with many Years old (grandfather).
Equipment: P4, 2.4 GHz, Celereon, 512MB Ram, 40+200GB HDDs, 2x BenQ Combo burners, WinFastTV2000 expert (TV2k).
All purchased between June-August 2004.
TV2k works fine alone. Although a de-installation and a re-installation is a nightmare (de-installation: you MUST remove manually all files and entries in the registry, otherwise you going in circles).
As I'm now on long leave (pensioner), I want to put the piles of VHS tapes from my children and grand children onto disks. As the movies contain some booboos, I have to edit them, e.g. make them lighter or darker and cut total plunders out.
With TV2k came 2 programs: Videostudio 7SE and DVD movie factory 2.5. I can start in both programs the capturing. Only something is wrong, as on the inset monitor has a blurred picture with diagonally coloured stripes (basic TV colours red, green, blue) all over the picture appear. And the stripes ARE recorded. I unplugged the TV antenna cable and closed the socket with a 75 Ohm dummy resistor plug.
No change. The system settings are correct (PAL-I)and CVBS. I seems that the programs change some setting in the TV2k!? The same symptom I get when I install a wrong driver (2 to choose from in the TV2k setup).
Any experience?
And any god experience with another capturing/editing program?
