Hello everyone

I have backuped approx. 60 dvd's without any problem. Recently all my Backups freeze when I am watching them. I get no error message from DVD SHRINK but when i play it the image freeze all the time. If I try with an old DVD I have no problem.

Can someone please help me or refer me to a site where I can find the answer.

Thank you very much for all your help

P.S. I have tried with CloneDVD2 and I get the same result

Chris

What brand/type media have you been using?

What speed have you been burning them at?

What make/model burner? Firmware version?

try defragging the hard drive before you burn. (defrag the hard drive where the dvd files are)

Thank's for your replies!

I am using a LG 4081 DVD+-RW and I am burning at 2X.

I am using DVD's with no brand names. (But the first one I did using this brand work fine!)

Could It be the Drive??? But I will defrag all my drives, this might help.

This is most likely your problem. Low quality media is the source of many, many problems. Going by the results of just one disc is asking for trouble. If you get through a 25 pack with no problems whatsoever then it's safe to buy more of them.

Try using some good media such as Ritek G04/05, Maxell, Verbatim DataLifePlus or Taiyo Yuden :)

Try running one of your discs through DVD Info Pro to get the manufacturer ID of the media you've been using.
