Is there a way to convert language on a backup DVD movie to english?

If there isn't an English audio track on the dvd I think you are out of luck. I have seen 3 audio track on dvd's. English, French, and Spanish. When doing the backup copy you pick which one you want to keep and which to delete.
Not sure if yours is this way or not.
