Two things:-
Firstly don't use Nero Express -you should use the full Nero Burning Rom (express is notoriously unstable on some machines).

Second: download this and try again:-
http://www.clonecd.net/aspi.htm (perfectly safe to do so).

Appears you have an ASPI layer problem.

You could try out the latest firmware;

http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces

But your big problem is this;

Disc Manufacturer: PRINCO

Get yourself some highgrade brand discs and try with them. Write error sounds as your burner don't like your Princos.

Yes, avoid using Nero Express. I agree the Princo discs are only good for Data - avoid using for video.

Hi,

just wanted to say I had the same problem. I guess my white no-name DVD-Rs are Princos. I do have a LG 4040B Burner and that problem is there since I installed Windows XP SP2 (and DVD Shrink 3.2). And only with the cheap Princo DVDs. (Test-burns with my Fujifilm DVD-RWs where perfect.)
I had no problems burning the files to the Princo DVD-Rs with Nero Burning ROM instead of doing the one-click-thing with Shrink.

So there shouldn't be problems with my purple Ridiscs? Is it only the Princos? Also: I can only put about 4420 MBs to the Princos. Otherwise it won't finish the lead-out track.
