i have just purchased a dual layer burner, i have heard that the existing dual layer media will soon become obsolete soon and a new media introduced. is this true and if so can anyone tell me about the new media. txs in advance

It's all about cost really, the cheapest dual layer disc in the UK is about £5.00 = $9.00 US

The burners are about the same £50.00+ UK, $100.00- US

When one can buy top quality single layer media at less than £0.30 a disc, it's hard to justify paying £5.00 for a dual layer one.
