Hey experts,
I bought a flip top recently and It worked fine. All the games I backed up worked perfectly. after like 3 weeks. Im starting to have problems with games loading slower or not loading at all. These are the same games that loaded perfectly before. I use memorex dvd-r and fuji +r. Im waiting on these riteks to get here. My question is could it be that after a while your laser start to go because of the burnt games? I dont know whats up. I clean the lens REGULARLY after reading the forums but it still has its moments where it jacks up on me. Any advice

it does seem like playing backups wares the lense faster, but I'm not so sure, try adjusting the laser angle by about 1-4 notches in either direction
