well, i made the mistake of ordering some memorex dvd+rs from amazon before checking out these boards, so what does everyone here think? the four listed seem to get the most praise, but which one is the best? i hope i can return them the memorex somewhere...

I've just started using memorex dvd-r and so far haven't had any probs with it. (V7, magic 3.1)

i used memorex for a while with no problems also. but ritek is better quality and much cheaper.

i havent had problems with either type of media but i like ritek more because they dont have those damn labels on top saying what brand it is and shit and they are a hell of alot cheaper. check out http://www.newegg.com if you want to buy them.

should i buy silver matte or shiny silver? one is like 2 bucks cheaper...is there any difference?

get the silver matte. the silver shiny gets finger prints all over them.
