Im Totaly new here. Do I need a decoder?? Does nero 6 have one?? Every time I start the dvd up I have a video subsysyem error. I run nero and it says" File invalid.I run the test software and it tells me " Read of scrambled sector without autentication"??? any help will be welcome thanks.

Welcome to AfterDawn pigPete.
You need two free programs, to start with,
DVDdecryper, and DVDshrink, after that read the guides how to use them, read lots of thread, and see how others solve their problems.
