Hello everyone, I have a unique situation well at least I think I do. While trying to backup my copy of Taking Lives using Shrink 3.2, I ran into a crc error at 96% which would be the credits so no big deal or so I thought. I watched the entire movie on my PC and I thought I could burn it to a DVD but there was no ifo file. Apparently one was not created since the movie was not 100% completed. Is there a way to still keep these vobs and burn them or should I delete them and just not loan out my original movie? By the way, I cleaned the disk and can not see any visible scratches on the disk so the crc error must be some defective sectors around the credits. I also tried to rip with Decrypter and only got to 90% of the movie too. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try using IFOEdit, you can make your IFO files with that -

Thanks Pete but I am using Windows XP and I read on the forums that IFOEdit will not work with Windows XP. Is there another software available thats easy to use or at least come with a manual?

The IFOEdit that doesn't work with XP is version 0.96.

I'm informed that version 0.95 works well with XP -

No problem, Here is the quote and the link:)

Please note that this version of IFOEdit doesn't work perfectly with Windows XP, so it is strongly recommended to use it with Win2k instead

I've been all over the Caribbean, South America and Cenrtral America for the last 40 years -

I recently suffered an accident and am a quadriplegic - if I can walk again I'll head to either Honduras OR Cozumel where I'l stay with close diving friends and dive my butt off. I truly miss the peace and quiet that can be had at 200+ feet downstairs :P)

Cheers there DM,

Lay back and groove to the Barefoot Man :)

Scuba pete, I write this with tears in my eyes, i can´t imagine my life without diving. I hope you recover soon, and go back to deep blue. You have a friend in Colombia.
