could somebody tell me howlong it takes them to burn a ps2 dvd backup at 1x speed and also how long it takes at 2x if anybody does so.

it depends on how big the game is. if its a full 4.3 gigs, 60 min at 1x, 30 min at 2x.

the amount of memory has more to do with ripping than burning.

well how much do you have? my friends computer only has 128 megs and he can burn at 4x with no problems.

even if you had gigs of memory it wouldn't speed up burn time.

It should take you about 30mins. Ive ripped and burned vice city at 2.4x in just 20mins. =P
