i have the first dvd mod chip. I got it like 3 years ago. I wanna play online and people say you can put your mod chip to sleep. how?

do you know the name of your chip? if it is 3 years old i highly doubt you can put it to sleep.

i think its a magic because i tried the "restart for 5 seconds" method and my game booted itself at the start menu. that never happened before. did it put it to sleep?

try it with an online game and if you get a DNAS error 402 then you didnt put it to sleep.

I am having the same problem as our friend here. I followed the instructions to patch the ids for my original version of madden 2005. After patched there were no good results. I also tried with my original and it didint worked either. Now I read that some are able to put their ps2s on sleep mode???? Mine is about 1.5 or 2 years old and I think it is a messiah.
