hi all

im new to the dvdr seen and need some help

basicly im having probs burning a avi file to a dvd disk

i have changed the format so as it can be played as a dvd but when it comes the the burn process any prog i use eather crashes or gives an error before it even starts

the drive is a Samsung sw-08
disc's = Panasonic DVD -r 4.7gb 4x capable

im running windows xp sp2 and have no probs creating cd-r/rw's

so im at a loss as y this is happening

have the most upto date version's of

nero express 6
dvdsanta
windvd recorder 5
windvd creator 2
winavi video converter
dvdcopy

any ideas as to what it could be

ok this is getting strange

i payed for and downloaded dvdlab

did burn a disk but not really knowing what to do mucked it up didn't link the vid files

so tryed again and now it will not burn anymore disk's

help !!!

cxan anyone tell me what im doing wrong ?

have all the files on the hd but not able to burn it to a dvd

If the program had worked once for you, why not try to uninstall, and re-install it completely to see if that helps?

AVI2MPEG will convert AVI to dvd but although it doesnt do a true ntsc/pal conversion it still is very good.
