I need help!!!...
I have used Shrink to copy a 9gig movie (Man on Fire) and was able to shrink it to fit on one DVD. I created an iso file on hard drive. THen I used DVD Decrypter to copy to media. Took almost 7 hours! I have a Pioneer 16x16 burner but am using 4x media. Whay did it take so long?

Wow! Seven hours is about six hours and forty-five minutes too long!

Is the drive internal or external?

If it's internal, check the DMA settings following this link:

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/storage/IDE-DMA.mspx

If it's and external USB drive, make sure your using a USB 2.0 port following this link:

Thanks for the info. I have an internal drive. I checked an looks like I have things set up ok.
Somethign really strange happened at about 48% complete. All of the sudden, the DVD drive started writing continously and it got done in about 15 minutes. The first 50% took several hours. I burned another copy to see what was going on, and it got done in about 15 minutes. Not sure wht happened, but seems to be working now. Thanks for you input.
