Can't burn anything!

I'm having trouble with my burner. I can't really burn anything. I have the following installed on my computer that is considered a burning program. Nero 6 ultra, Clone, and Alcohol120%. I know I"m not simulating cuz I checked up on that. I've had this problem before and I did a system restore and I guess then it worked out. I can create images but I can't burn it on a cd-r/cd-rw. I can backup my music cds using wmp but I can't use wmp to burn music. Any help?
