i recently rented nhl 2005 and whatever software i am using clone/dvd decrypter/nero/windvd i cant seem to get it to work on my ps2 device

I used DVD Decrypter v3.1.6 and burned a perfect working copy onto a TDK DVD+R disc. I have a v7+PS2 and loaded it with DVD SwapMagic v2.0. You need to give a little more info on your problem....ie:what media are you using? and such....

i have a ps2 version 7, i am using a maxwell dvdrw. no results!

try using dvd+r or dvd-r discs as very few ps2's will boot backup games on dvd+/-rw discs
