Can i play ps2 backup without a chip?

I backup my PS2 games and dont want to waste money on a modchip is there any other way of playing ps2 backups without using a chip if so plz reply and tell me

yes there is. use swap magic and slid tool/ flip top. this will allow u the play backups. swapmagic is boot disk. load this first then swap it for the backup either using slid took which ejects the ps2 rom without the ps2 knowing or by flip top which replaces the existing ps2 console case with a flip top. tis gives the ps2 a flip lid which pops open so u dont need to press eject to extract the boot disk. for swap magic info check out.... www.swapmagic.co.uk

I have a flip top. You can burn games, but there certain games that will need you to download a program in order to play games that needs patches.
