DVD Rip won't work yet all others do!?!?!?!?!?!

I have been ripping DVD's for around 3 months and I have managed to burn around 80 DVD's that work no probs....

I tried to rip Quadrophenia today (Rip with Shrink - Burn with Decrypter) and it won't work in my player, I have not had any problems in the past!!!

What is the best settings for shrink in order to get a working back-up e.g - compression settings

Also, what audio channel should I use? Stereo or 5.1????????

Try it the other way around - rip with DVD Decrypter then burn with DVD Shrink. On the compression, I try for 100% or clase to it as much as possible. Also the stereo 5.1 is what I would want to keep.

ok, thanks!

1 question tho, I no longer have the original DVD, just the VOB files and an ISO of it.

Will Decrypter be able to work with these files?

VOB files will be fine. you can "open files" in shrink and use from there.
I'd join the vobs with dvd lab then make my own menu and try it that way.
