No need to back it up again. You can simply burn the VIDEO_TS folder :)

Ritek RiDATA, Verbatim Metal AZO, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden are good brands to look at. It's entirely up to you as far as +/-, R/RW and speed rating. Try some differnt types and stick with whatever one works good for you.

I like to use Neros copy disc for backing up additional copies of a disc that I already burned.
It seems to be a quick and easy process for me.
Hey Nephilim, What it be like ?

Not intended to start up 'another' - I can do it easily and cheat the system topic - eh Nephilim....LOL

But, as the file is on your Hard drive, you may aswell burn using the VIDEO_TS folder (As Nephilim stated).

This is fine if you have a decent setup, but is risky due to the nature of the high speed rates involved.
Many have tried and failed, and it is safer to burn from the hard drive rather than 'on the fly'.
I am not stating that you are wrong mcalister, far from from it actually, it does usually depend on your actual setup and media as to whether this method is successful or not, and as we know every PC is different.............

I have a very efficient setup, and can do 'on the fly' burning very easily BUT I do not due to possible read errors and possible glitches during the transfer.........

Keep in mind Sir Baabaa that when I first came to AD your posts were among the most closely followed and I benefitted immensely from them. I have you to thank for much of my trouble free start into the burning world using RecordNow and your excellent guides at Chris' site ;)

I thank you both for the kind words :)
