Good Day,

DigitalSk, I have a standalone Sony DVD Recorder, a high end Sony DVD Player as well as a pc Sony Dual Layer burner. What I have found is that that both standalone Sony's are fussy about the cheaper brands of disks they will play, particularly with +R or -R disks, as opposed to RW disks. However the Ritek disks are fine at a very good price.
Word of mouth says that Riteks seem to play in many players so my advice is to try one or two first before committing to a spindle buy.
