Basicly it means Nero has had a problem compiling the files you have selected to make a Dvd.Obviously when Nero is preparing a project for burning it will try to put the files in to a redable order for all including a stand alone dvd player.By giving you this warning it is telling you one of your files may be missing or corrupt and it can not be put in what Nero sees as a reconizable order to most players.

At this stage i would check you have ripped all files to the hard drive and all are selected. If it is a corrupted file you may need to rip again or find away to repair file.

I have had this error myself a few times of which most times i try to resolve.Sometimes i have ignored and carried on.Most times it has worked out ok for me but there again my stand alone player seems to take anything. It may be different if i was to try on someone else's.

I've had the same problem with my nec +/- burner.. It started after I had installed WinXP SP2 :( Now I can't burn any *.img files anymore.. I knew the files worked before I installed SP2, therefor I uninstalled SP2 in hope that everyting would work as before(actually I didn't uninstall, but formated and installed an old gohst image I had). But after uninstalling SP2, I still have the same problem.. Maby it's a possibility that SP2 has updated my burner bios?

SP2 should not really do anything to your burner. It may be causing problems with your software though.Maybe you have a conflict some where down the line.I would recomend you uninstall your burner in windows xp disconect from your pc and then completely install your drive again. This will then be installed as a new drive and hopefully will sort your problem out.

Didn't try what you suggested... Found out something more easy.. I just altered the file from *.img to *.iso, then everything worked as usual... weird.. can't explain why it's working, but doesen't care as long as I can burn again :)

Thanx!
