I am attempting to grab the disc ID from Tiger Woods 2005. I boot the CD and then eject it for the original DVD and hit X..... I can keep hitting X and get different IDs....Can I assume that these are random IDs being generated and not the one I need? Does the chip have to be turned off? What are typical methods of turning chips off? (I don't know what chip is in the machine....it's 2 weeks old, latest revision of PS2).
