shouldn't use Nero to backup your games since half of the time it won't work for the ps2. use Alcohol 120 or DVD Decrypter to backup your games. those program meantto burn backup games.

What version is your PS2? It might not read that media too well, ive had media that worked barely for some games and not at all for others. Try using Fujifilm DVD-R. Burn at 1x. And clean your laser, it helps immensly.

I also have found that the PS2 will not read certain DVDs. I have had good success with TDK+R, and COMPUSA-R's. I have had several others that would not work at all. I didn't know this until one of my friends asked me to copy a game for him, and it worked on his PS2. I had just copied the same game on a FUJI DVD+R that did not work on mine. He brought his game back to my house and it worked fine.

Also, the best program I found for copying the PS2 games is the NTI DVD Maker. You can go to www.packetnews.com and serach for it, and this site will allow you to click on the file which will open your mIRC to go grab the file. This site is great for other stuff from warez to movies.

Hope that helps you!!

The best way to clean the lens on your PS2, DVD, XBOX. or PC CD player, etc... just go to Best Buy or COMPUSA and buy a lens cleaning CD.

Also, I can't send the NTI program to you. It is too large, and the best way to get it thru the mIRC like I told you in the previous message. Get the mIRC software, and go to www.packetnews.com and do a search for NTI.

Good Luck!

I put the original game into my DVD player, and a blank DVD into my DVD burner, and it copies the game. Just click on the icon for copying CD to CD or DVD to DVD... it's very simple!

If you don't have a DVD player and a DVD burner on the same system then you will have to copy the game to your hard drive first as an image file, then copy to a blank DVD. Read the instructions in the help area, it tells you how to do it.... very EASY!!!

go to your HDD first even if you have a player and a burner. you'll end up with a better DVD.
