Spiderman 2 backup doesn't work!

Hello, I'm new here. To make a backup copy of my games I use alcohol 120%, I made backups of many games that
works very well, except SPIDERMAN 2.
When I try to play the backup copy of this game, after the PLAYSTATION 2 logo the dvd stops and the screen shows the memory card + ps2 dvd (the startup image)
Is this game copy protected?

Nope. I'm POSITIVE of this. Used Alcohol 120 also. What is your boot method?

I'm guessing modchip... Do I get a prize?

hi,
i have the exact same problem, but i'm on mac and burned the game with toast , as i did succesfully for all the other games..
maybe there is a protection

I use dms3 v9.
But perhaps The dvd burner doesn't work very well
