I use Nero to burn my audio and I also use it for my pictures but when I try to burn a film onto disc I get 2 messages 1 saying wrong disc inserted or if it has burned it wont play back on pc or dvd can anyone help

i USE Nero STARTSMART AND THE DISCS I HAVE TRIED ARE INFINITI, MAXWELL DVD-R, TDK, tHE FILMS THAT i HAVE TO COPY ONTO DISC ARE SVCD, TSVCD, DVD RIP I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COPY FILMS ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO BUT JUST SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKIN
