I want to copy a dvd to add to my holiday movie, i used a program called 123 dvd copy, which put it on my hard drive as vob files but i cant seem to play these files or copy them to annother dvd it doesnt recognise them christ knows why cos it just made them. All i want is to copy them to my hard drive edit it up a bit and shove it on a dvd.

Please help Nelly :)

Hi Nelly,

Create a folder and name it VIDEO_TS written exactly like that all in CAPs, grab everyone of those files you have and put it in that folder, use whatever proggy you want to edit and to burn and you'll be all set -

Thanks for the reply.
I have got these VOB files on my pc now but cant seem to play them . What i want is to be able to edit parts of them and eventually burn to dvd , how do i do this please?

If you want to know what proggy to use to edit, try DVD Shrink BUT since you didn't ask that I'm only guessing -
