I have home video from my digital camcorder that i want to burn to a dvd and play on my stand alone dvd player. I have them downloaded on my computer i just don't know how to get it to the format to play on my dvd player. Any help. I don't know where to begin. Do i need additional software?

You will need a dvd authoring software like TMPGEnc.If you then have a look through the links below you should find all the help and advise already answered.
