I have a copy of Primo Prassi DVD and when I install it and open it, it says: that no recordable devices are on this computer, but I have a dvd/cdrw combo drive (philips)...does anyone know why this is happening? and any ideas on how to correct the problem..I want to learn how to backup dvd's and such, but this is sooooo fustrating!! please help...and thx in advance!!

Did program come with drivers?
If so try installinfg them.

Try going into devise manager and uninstalling the drive then re-booting the computer and let t find it again -
