Some Backups won't work with ARM?

I recntly bought some backups from a website and my Action Replay MAX won't work with them, all of my homemade backups work with them & and they work fine without the ARM, I tried burning it to a new DVD and same results. Anyhelp would be welcome.

Also the games are Def Jam Fight For New York, and X-Men Legends. Modchip is DMS3 V9

I have the exact same problem and I'm almost sure its the AR Max codes. I emailed them and they told me they were working on fixing their problems. You will notice like the new Tony Hawk 2 and other new games will not always work until they fix the code bugs.
