Hello. I'm new here and I just went to www.mod-chip.com

On it, it says that Swap Magic can play DVD+-R/RW. Is that true?? Because everywhere else i went it says DVD-R. Some one please help!

media and the ps2 goes something like this
version 1-3 most wont read read dvd+r
version 4 some will read dvd+r some wont
version 5+ will read dvd+r
all versions read dvd-r
so depending on your version of ps2 would recomend you stick with either dvd+r or -r and not use rw discs, most ps2's have problems loading game backups on dvdrw media

I have a v7 PS2 and my burner is only DVD+R/RW.
Are you saying my PS2 can play DVD+R's?

Just burn a video on a +r and see if your ps2 plays it
