how do i back up my movie "The Punisher"
my friend wants a copy of it, but her wants the exact copy of the dvd, with all the menus and extras,
how would i copy it to a 4.7 gb dvd?

Heres what I do to back up all my movies and yes EVERYTHING gets backed up including menues and options. Go to the guides section of this site and look for "Copy full DVD movie disc to a DVDR using CloneDVD". Instead of using Clone DVD I use Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator. It may take a bit longer to decrypt the movie and then burn it but hey, You get a whole disc with extras and everything. The only thing you dont get is all the sound opetions. It will only burn in 5.1, but hey, I can live with that.

I use DVD Shrink and Nero and wa,la all done. i have copied the punisher and no problem. i got every thing.

or how can i convert VOB files?
in the punisher foler there is about 5 VOB files

Have you shrinkdvd.Try the guides section of Afterdawn:

Just put the disc in and select open disc.Select full disc backup and let it rip .simple but you may also want to check out the shrink forum as well

Dvd shrink can also accomplish this task as well through the re author tab.
