My backups kinda lag is there a problem or solution ????

My backups lag alot more than normal during loading times. Examples of this are:
Star Ocean 3 - battles taking FOREVER to load
Front Mission 4- when characters speak it takes awhile to load
Chaos Legion - Loading tutorials, menus, and switching stages
Fatal Frame - Opening doors lag

Is there a solution to this extra lagtime ????

I have a V9 Ps2 Fliptop, I burn at 1x with TDK dvd-r using alcohol 120%.

it might be worth trying a different brand of media and see if that helps with the loading times

hey i also got a v.9 ps2 with flip top and DVD -R's dont work really good the one that i use and i never had any problems with is Memorex DVD +R i burned over 50 games all load fast and never had any problems.

oh by the way look for it on the net or go to BestBuy casue they got a descount on it at the moment a 50 Pack for $29
