aladdin advance v64 trouble

i installed the aladdin advance mod chip on my 1.0xbox and it will open up with the MS dashboard fine but when i hold the power button for 3 secods to activiate the mod chip it turns on and off 3 times like it should and then all i get is a black screen and the ejector button changes from green to orange and the screen is black what coul be wrong

Could be bad bios on chip, or bad installation. Check all your points with the diagrams.

To check the bios, get a friend's Xbox with Aladdin in it, and swap the SST chips on the Aladdins. If his Xbox boots, your chip and bios are fine and it's definitely the installation.
