I was wondering how to get the proper volume label to show up when a dvd is backed up. When I back up a dvd I input the name of the disk and all that shows up upon completion of the burning procedure is the title New. How would I go about fixing this problem so that the correct title appears?


Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am using DVD Shrink in Conjunction with Nero.

In DVD Shrink when you click Backup! a new window comes up with 5 tabs. Choose the last tab, labeled Burn Settings and you should be able to put in your label. The latest version of DVD Shrink does it for you.

I realize that, and I've done that countless times, but when my backup finishes all I get is NEW as my label. I have the dvd labelled properly prior to burning and after burning it doesn't show up as it should. Any input??

Sorry for telling you what you already know. My DVDs are labeled properly every time without doing anything.
