you say you got an error message when you extracted the files, what program gave you the error message?

seem like it didn't extract the files from the iso correctly, would suggest that you try it again and see if it happens again, if it does try a different program to extract the files if you keep getting errors at about the same place during the extraction maybe there's a problem with the image file

so basicly to get this game to work, you build it the same way we all build the star wars battlefront game. hmm seems that this method is working very good with all games, i did the same methond to fifa2005 and it shrinked it to 2.something gb..

this is what i did to get bloodrayne 2 to load with swapmagic without the need for toc refresh with large game
1.created an iso image file of the game and used isobuster v1.4 and wrote down the file order then extracted all the files to a empty folder
2. i then deleted the following files-garbage,garbage2,garbage3,garbage7
3 now load up cd/dvd gen(i used ver 1.5)selected create new project, click ok select dvd rom master disk click ok
4.i then draged the files into cd/dvd gen in this order
(folder) ps2mods
slus.208.62
system.cnf
ps2model.pod
(folder) video
language.pod
common.pod
ps2art.pod
ps2pkg.pod
ps2sound.pod
ps2musnd.pod
ps2ensnd.pod
ps2set.pod
then click the volume button and were it asks for disc name in the first box entered slus and in the second box entered 20862, i then clicked on options>preference and set the default area to america, then clicked the record button
5. you get the usual errors about it not finding the recorder but you will eventualy get to create your image(iml files) file
6.i then moved my iml files to c:>documents and settings folder because thats were my command prompt defaults to
7. when the image file has been created click on the start button then run to bring up the run box, in that type cmd then click ok to bring up the command prompt at this prompt type copy/b xxxx.000 + xxxx.001 + xxxx.002 final.iso (replace xxxx with what ever you called your iml files)
8. leave it to do the conversion and you should end up with an iso file of about 2.17gb which you can burn to dvdr with your favourite burning software

thanks for the tips so far! still having a prob with the multi.002 when I extracted the files ps2set.pod gets an error message that says unreadable sector, the file is about 380mb, that explains why my final image is 1.70gb not 2.17gb like everyone else's, any ideas???

I can't get any of the above to work, I can get to the point where I am supposed to get into command prompt and all it keeps saying is that the files cannot be found. I am not sure exactly what I am doing wrong but does anyone have a different method of getting a backup of Bloodrayne 2 to work w/ swap magic? Thanks!

load up the command prompt and see were it defaults to, mine defaulted to documents and settings folder, have a look were your defaults to and move your iml files to there
also there is an alternate method using nero 6 listed here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/118345

I have to be honest with you I have no clue how to check where it defaults to. Anyway I think my problem is I have never used dvd generator before and I am not understanding what it is doing. I create the supposed files that I need (.ims and .iml files) and that is all I get. I tried to put them into my C drive along with documents and settings to see if either would work to no avail.
