Hey, what is the best type of disk to use when backing up PS2 games?

I'mtrying to use these but out of the 6 games I've tried to backup up only 2 actually worked?

Also, for some reason i cannot slow down the write speed of my DVD Any sugestions. I cannot do less than 4x. I head slower is better?

will that work ok on a ver 1 PS2? Also can you suggest something so I can slow do th whe write speed? I'm trying to burn Spiderman 2 but the darn this is so crappy, it keeps frezzing up.

i heard dvd+r doesn't work as well on older ps2 from v1-3. trying using dvd-r instead of dvd+r. burning slower is better. and what program are you using to burn your games? u should use Alcohol 120 to burn them.

i tryed alcohol, dvd decrypt and Nero. all have failed. however i did get some games to work. I don't get it.
