TDK DVD+R recognition issues

I bought a pack of TDK 4.7 GB 4X DVD+RW the other day, and they have worked flawlessly in my Philips DVD8421. I then followed that up by buying a pack of TDK 4.7 GB 4X DVD+R's, but now DVD Decrypter will not recognize them. Any help? By the way, anyone know where I can find some support for my burner? I have found absolutely NOTHING in the form of firmware updates, etc.
