No sound after compressed with DVD Shrink, and burned with Decrypter.

might help to say which audio you chose & from what audio options ya had (?)

I chose AC3 5.1-ch Unspecifcied, for the Menu, Main Movie, and extras. I chose English subpictures, and left out all french subpictures. Do you need any more specific info?

Have you got a 5.1 supported DVD player & maybe a 5.1 amp also ...?
Safest thing to do in future is select AC3-2CH if not having 5.1 ;-)

I tried it on a stand alone DVD player and the sound doesnt work. IS it possible i screwed with something in the audio in DVD Shrink? or do u have oter ideas?

It could be that you accidently screwed up in audio options .. but hey once bitten .. twice shy [as they say]:-)
Choose AC3 2CH from now on yeah

is there anyway i can read you the audio settings that i burned? Because i really dont know which audio i should keep and under which tab(Dvd movie, menu, extras, audio)

What are the exact audio settings that i need to burn? the onlu audio options to change are in dvd mvovie, there are no opyions with the audio in anu of the + dropdown menue (extras,main,audio).

there are full guides for DVD Shrink here mate : http://www.dvdshrink.info
the audio option(s) will be over to the right ... below where you have the choice of drop down box to choose 'still images' etc for replacing extras
anyway hope you find what you're looking for , it wouldn't help to tell me which DVD you were backing up so I could guess at what audio options you have ... cos even if I'd backed up the same title ... I live in Region 2 - PAL country [and there can be a vast difference from R1 - NTSC] ; )

What happens if I do not change any settings in DVD shrink and I burn it without increasing the compression ratio? What quality differences will i notice?

try keeping all the audio , but making extras still image ... that'll keep your video quality : )

IT doesnt say there what still images are. However, i read the guide over...my problem is that i do not have the option to remove french or spanish audio, or any other different language. This DVD only comes with AC3 5.1-Ch. English and AC3 2-Ch. English. Which one should i remove???? Should i also remove french subpictures?

it does show the option for still images , you can now d/l a still image to add instead of extras ... available at site mentioned above http://www.dvdshrink.info/title_replacements.php
you may aswell keep both english audio options as Id imagine they're only a few hundred Mb at the most ... and yes uncheck the french subpictures
