I DOWNLOADED TRAIL DVDSANTA AND IT WORK FINE. I COULDN'T GET TMPE TO WORK AND I DO NOT WANT TO PAY FOR DVDSANTA. IS THERE ANY OTHER PROGRAM THAT CONVERTS AS FAST AS DVDSANTA AND WORKS

Please do not use full CAPS in your next or any subsequent post as it's deemed as shouting (and thus bad manners/etiquette) ;-)

As to your question , you've not given enough info ... are you just wanting a piece of s/w that backs up DVDs or one that also encodes avi/mpg etc ?
If you're asking is there a free 'all-in-one' software then the answer would be no !
