I've been looking at some media and wanted to know which is better between these two. Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. *Note: I use DVD+R but anyways. I've used the cheap crap before and have received crap like Data Error: Cyclic Redundancy Check and can't playback stuff half the time. So out of the above two medias, which is the best and which media is the best in your opinion.

No question about it TY is the premium brand and I think
most on here will agree. The only bad burn I ever had
with at TY dvd was my own fault. Expensive but the best.

Where can Taiyo Yuden Authentic Media be purchased from which isnt fake or where do you usually purchase this media from?

Not sure in the USA as I am Canadian but any reputable
dealer will make sure you get genuine TY.
www.blankmedia.ca has been real good to me in terms of
quality, price and customer service. Just my opinion.
