Ok so i got some models of dvd burners around my price range but am unsure which one would work the best for ps2 dvd's.
nec ND-3500a
pioneer DVR-107
liteon SOHW-1633S
LG GSA-4160

all should work fine,as long as they are dvd-r,the reason i say this is because most ps2s like dvd-r discs and if they are ritek your on to a winner,remember to write back at 1x speed and hey presto you got your backup.my choice would be the pioneer107 good dvd-+r writer,but im baist cause i got the pioneer106 and the 108 daul layer.

I just purchased a cheep I/O magic 8x burner.Used Memorex DVD+R and I have had no problems yet

i have been hearing many good things about pioneer dvd burners so i think i might go with the dvr-108, thanks guys for your opinion,although LG knows where its at with burners and stuff, but i am unsure, think i might go with the pioneer its an extra 10 bucks.

stick with the pioneer,used them for two years and i have never had a problem with them,easy to use and u can upgrade the firmware very easy,from the pioneer site.i brought my 108 for £60.00 its a bargain,they where £250.00 just 2 years ago.but like everything the prices always change.use dvddecrypter (iso)read then (iso)write 1x speed on a ritek disc and you will have a 99% succsess rate with your backups,happy times.
